Draconir stands out among Digital Friends for one reason—he can actually talk. It's something even he doesn't fully understand, especially since his memory data got separated from him somewhere along the way.
Light Tenryu first encounters Draconir when Wolfram Zerga hands him a deck. The moment Light installs it on his smartphone, Draconir appears and catches everyone off guard (Subaru and Itsuki included) by speaking. From that point on, Draconir becomes Light's battle partner, offering support and conversation whenever Light draws his card.
The real mystery kicks in when Light and Draconir realize his memories are fragmented across different devices—each one held by the Seven Shadows. This discovery sends them on a quest to track down the pieces and finally figure out where Draconir came from and why he's able to do something no other Digital Friend can.
