Young-One is a doctor at a boxing club where he treats injuries for cage fighters, including Mignon. He's genuinely concerned about Mignon's safety in such a dangerous sport and has tried pushing him to consider a different career path. His boss, Master Woo, has repeatedly told him not to get too emotionally invested in the fighters' lives, but Young-One struggles with that distance.
