Papamametchi
Papamametchi is Mametchi's dad and pretty much the archetypal responsible father figure—serious and genuinely caring, but with enough of a sense of humor to keep things from getting too stuffy. He's a scientist working at MameMame Laboratory, which explains the whole white lab coat and red tie aesthetic he's got going on.
He showed up in official artwork way back during the Chou Jinsei Enjoi Tamagotchi Plus era, but his actual debut as a playable or interactive character on a virtual pet didn't happen until the Tamagotchi Connection Version 5 dropped. Since then, he's been a fixture in the franchise, representing the more grounded, intellectual side of the Tamagotchi world.
