He's the second son of the Kingdom of Parnakorta's royal family, though calling him a typical prince would miss the point entirely. Unlike most royalty, he has zero interest in the throne—you're more likely to find him out on the farm than in a palace, which says everything about where his priorities actually lie.
He's genuinely liked by the people, and for good reason. He comes across as friendly and kind-hearted, the type of person who actually cares rather than just performs duty. That said, he carries some real weight around how he acquired his partner Philia—he paid for her, and he's never quite comfortable with that fact. It bothers him deeply, and he's protective of her in various ways because of it. Whether that guilt stems from guilt about the transaction itself or concern for her wellbeing (or both) defines a lot of how he relates to her.
