Clodsire
Clodsire is a sturdy, amphibious Pokémon with a rounded body—dark brown on top, light brown below, with a wave pattern where the colors meet. It's got beady black eyes, a wide mouth, and tiny nostrils. Its four stubby legs each have three digits, and a short dorsal fin runs along its lower back before tapering into a bulbous tail. In many ways, it resembles its non-Paldean relatives, though it's distinct enough to stand on its own.
What really sets Clodsire apart are the six light purple circular spots covering its back. When threatened, it'll shoot out thick, dangerous spines from these spots as a defense—a move that's risky but effective. The Pokédex notes that Clodsire hangs out in pond and swamp depths, where it's known for helping Paldean Wooper cross bodies of water by letting them ride on its back.
