Xiao is one of Liyue's mightiest adepti, best known as the Vigilant Yaksha. Despite looking young, stories about him stretch back thousands of years—he's Alatus, the last surviving member of the five great Yakshas that Morax sent to wipe out the demonic plague that once terrorized the region.
These days he keeps mostly to himself at Wangshu Inn, avoiding crowds and the usual social scene. He's developed a somewhat famous fondness for the inn's almond tofu, which supposedly tastes like the sweet dreams he used to consume back in the old days.
Visually, Xiao has a pretty distinctive look. He wears a sleeveless white shirt with subtle cloud patterns and a high black collar trimmed in gold—the left side extends over his shoulder for that asymmetrical vibe. His dark purple pants and matching boots are pretty baggy and relaxed. He's got black and dark turquoise gloves with gold detailing, and wears a white and gold sleeve with red lining on his left arm. His Anemo Vision is mounted on his left glove, and he typically carries his Yaksha mask clipped to his right hip.
