A-chan (えーちゃん), whose full name is Yuujin A (友人A, literally "Friend A"), is the tech person who keeps Sora's streams running. She started out as basically a running joke—just a hastily-drawn stick figure of a woman with glasses and a ponytail appearing in videos here and there. It wasn't until July 2018 that she actually got a proper character design, and she received a full 3D model on September 7, 2020.
These days she's the backbone of Hololive's technical operations, working entirely behind the scenes. Fans know her best from her appearances in "Holo no Graffiti," the comedy shorts where she pops up regularly.
