Yachiho is a fair-skinned young woman with long blue hair styled in twintails and tied with white ribbons. She's older than her youngest sister, Himari. You'll almost always see her in the Anti-Demon Corps uniform—navy blue short-sleeved top, red belt, long skirt, shin-high heeled boots, and white gloves.
Her personality is pretty contradictory. She comes across as overconfident in her Peach Blessing, convinced she's basically unstoppable, yet somehow still aware of her actual limits. She can be outright condescending, especially toward Himari, whom she frequently puts down for being weak. There's this constant thing with her obsession over being elegant and refined—likely tied to her powers and a genuine love of poetry. She even speaks in this distinctive formal, intellectual style that sounds almost like an elderly scholar.
That said, Yachiho has a soft spot. The moment Himari gets into real danger during a fight, Yachiho will immediately use her Golden Hour ability to rewind time and save her, consequences be damned. She takes it way too far sometimes—when Himari refuses to go home with her, Yachiho doesn't just get upset; she practically turns to stone from crying.
As one of the standout daughters in the Azuma Household (alongside her other gifted sisters, though notably not Himari), Yachiho was actually close to her youngest sister years ago. Old photos show Himari waving back at her. Somewhere along the way, though, that dynamic shifted. Yachiho started teasing her constantly until the affection curdled into looking down on her almost entirely.
