Claude teaches at Easton Magic Academy and proctored Mash's entrance exams. He's the type who really feeds off compliments and gets defensive when people don't respect him—so when Mash showed zero interest in impressing him, Claude took it personally and developed a grudge. He tried to tank Mash's scores out of spite, but it backfired. Mash aced everything and somehow won over Wahlberg in the process, which basically sealed Claude's fate as the bitter guy on the sidelines.
