She's the eldest daughter of Minister Qian Aotian and his first wife, and older sister to Yun Shang. Right now she's married to Lord Ye Wang, though that relationship started under false pretenses—she initially posed as her sister Yun Shang before he figured out the truth.
Growing up, her family basically cast her out because of her psychic abilities, which they saw as strange and bad luck. She spent most of her life in the Ling Yun Mountains training under a master who taught her martial arts and taoist magic. She now resides at Serene Pavilion.
