Ash once sought out Cabernet for private advice on how well his Pokémon matched up with him as a trainer. She wasn't impressed—not even a little. She basically kicked all of them away, clearly unimpressed by what she was seeing.
Things got interesting when Cilan and Iris showed up to check on what Ash was doing. The moment Cabernet spotted Cilan, she lit up and screamed his name. Turns out she recognized him as a fellow Sommelier, which immediately got her excited.
She challenged him to a battle on the spot. Cabernet brought out Futachimaru and Sawsbuck while Cilan countered with Ishizumai and Pansage.
