Skydream is an Ice Worm from the Northern continent who stumbled into immortality almost by accident. At 30 years old, he was fleeing an enemy when he fell into an ice crack—one that happened to contain 10,000-year-old ice essence. He ended up in a deep slumber there, gradually absorbing everything the cave had to offer over millennia.
The pattern repeated. Each time he woke, he'd search for new caves he couldn't previously access, then slip back into hibernation to absorb their essences. The cycle continued relentlessly. By the time his cultivation reached 100,000 years, he'd transformed into a Gold-patterned Ice Worm—a significant jump in power that opened up even more areas to explore.
He kept going. Eating, sleeping, absorbing—draining every cave he could find until there was nothing left. Eventually, after 900,000 years of cultivation, Skydream had become a legitimate spirit beast of staggering power, eventually making his way to the middle of the ocean where his journey seems to have taken him.
