Retsuko's mother is a Red Panda, sharing much of her daughter's distinctive coloring—orange fur that's faded somewhat over the years, black eyes, and those characteristic brown tear stains with white stripes beside them. Like Retsuko and her own mother before her, she has a white muzzle, ears, and eyebrows, plus brown legs and hands that match her tear markings. Her tail is striped, completing the family's recognizable look.
