USS Enterprise (CV-6) was the seventh ship to bear the Enterprise name in the U.S. Navy. Known as "The Big E," she was a Yorktown-class aircraft carrier launched in 1936 and one of only three American carriers commissioned before World War II to make it through the war intact. She saw more major combat action against Japan than any other U.S. ship during the conflict.
In Azur Lane, Enterprise belongs to the Eagle Union and fights alongside her sister ships Yorktown and Hornet, both also Yorktown-class carriers. Like her historical counterpart, she becomes a key figure in the Eagle Union fleet as the war escalates.
