Mangetsu Kohinata seems like your average high school student, except she's got this thing about making bento boxes for her classmates—though honestly, it's unclear if they actually appreciate her or just expect free lunch at this point. One day she forgets a lunch box at school and heads back to grab it. That's when everything gets weird: she gets pulled into some kind of alternate dimension where massive magical mechs are tearing each other apart. After barely making it through that nightmare, Mangetsu suddenly finds herself able to control her own mech, the White Lily. From that moment on, she's stuck in this brutal, ongoing battle whether she likes it or not, just trying to stay alive while figuring out what the hell is actually going on.
