Klancain inherited his father Count Cruhteo's title after the old count's death. He's notably uncomfortable with the formality of it all—when people address him as "Count Cruhteo," he'll push back and ask them to just call him Klancain, saying he hasn't really adjusted to the whole inheritance thing yet. It's a pretty telling character moment, honestly. Compared to other Orbital Knights, he comes across as way less arrogant about his status, which sets him apart from a lot of his peers.
