Ikkei used to coach Karasuno High's volleyball team and actually got them to nationals—a pretty solid achievement. He had to step back from coaching after a health scare that landed him in the hospital. These days he's moved on to coaching younger kids at Lil Tykes Volleyball Classroom, which is a pretty natural fit for someone with his track record.
