J.J. George
J.J. is a national boxing champion who doesn't shy away from talking himself up. He's convinced he's the strongest fighter around and makes no bones about it—"champion" and "the strongest" are basically his default descriptors for himself.
He's a large African-American man with a family: he's married with several kids. Speaking Japanese isn't really his thing, though, and honestly he barely bothers with the language at all.
Going in, J.J. carries some serious racist attitudes toward Japanese people. But that all changes after he gets absolutely demolished by Momotarou in the ring. The loss hits different—it's the kind of defeat that actually shifts his perspective, and he ends up genuinely regretting his earlier prejudice.
