Hitomi is the series' main protagonist and the actual thief of the operation—the one who earns the "Cat's Eye" title. She's the second daughter of Michael Heinz, and she's genuinely warm, loyal, and caring toward her sisters and Toshio. That said, her temper is quick to ignite, and she's known for snapping at people she's close to, especially Toshio. The two argue constantly, though Hitomi typically regrets it afterward and apologizes.
She's an exceptional athlete with a genuinely impressive skill set. Like her sister Rui, she's accomplished at horseback riding, safe cracking, and just about anything physical you can think of.
