Asuka's the main character of the story—a second-year student who just barely scraped by her promotion exam. She's pretty upbeat and optimistic most of the time, though she can be kind of naive about things. Her biggest goal is to become a great ninja like her grandfather, and she's determined to follow in his footsteps.
The thing is, Asuka has an intense fear of frogs. Which is pretty awkward considering her family's summon animal is. a frog. She does her best to push through it, but it's definitely a running source of frustration for her.
