Nui
Nui is one of the Four Heavenly Kings, sharing that position with his twin sister Veil. Like her, he's an idol—and their concerts serve a dual purpose: drawing crowds while siphoning energy from attendees.
He's devoted to Veil in a serious way. He's sworn to stay by her side always, which is why he attends St. Cherine Academy's middle school even though she does. It's not exactly a typical sibling bond.
Nui has a pretty bleak view of humanity. He sees people as fundamentally awful, constantly putting on fake smiles and forcing emotions they don't actually feel just to survive day-to-day life. Not the most optimistic guy.
What's interesting is how he reacted to Sumire—she basically didn't care about his whole "humans suck" monologue. No judgment, no argument, just indifference. That actually got his attention in a way most people don't.
