Hobbies: collecting ribbons
Chiyo's the type of girl who lights up a room—cheerful, excitable, and genuinely friendly with pretty much everyone, even when they're being weird about it. She's got a vivid imagination that gets away from her sometimes, which means she's easily swayed and quick to jump to conclusions. When Mikoshiba introduced her to Kashima, she totally misread the whole situation. That said, she's surprisingly adaptable socially. Yeah, Yuzuki Seo treats people like garbage half the time, but Chiyo somehow still managed to befriend her, probably because she's a little too innocent to fully understand why others get annoyed.
Art's her real passion. She's in the Arts club and volunteers as an assistant to Nozaki on his manga, where her classical, detail-heavy style actually complements his work well.
The complicated part? Chiyo's hopelessly into Nozaki. When she first tried confessing to him, he completely missed the mark and thought she was just declaring herself his biggest fan—which was not the reaction she was going for. After that, she started helping with his manga work partly as a legitimate passion project, partly as an excuse to be around him and win him over. But Nozaki's got zero romantic instincts in real life (ironic for a romance manga artist), so her efforts keep backfiring. She doesn't quit though, which is both admirable and kind of concerning to the people watching her keep throwing herself at this oblivious guy.
