Umio's the newest staff member at Uma no Hone comic shop, so he hasn't earned one of those signature nicknames the other employees have yet. Most people just call him Umi. He's a solid illustrator—skilled enough that Sensei regularly brings him in to help with her manga work. Pretty much a textbook nerd; he's genuinely into Die Heart, which happens to be a dating sim aimed at women, and he doesn't seem bothered by admitting it.
He's got black hair, wears glasses, and lives in a solo apartment about one train stop away from Sensei. Pretty low-key setup overall.
