A mysterious wind spirit who showed up in episode 24 alongside Moop, Fuu has some unspecified connection to Kaoru that's never fully explained. Her name literally comes from the Japanese character for wind (風), though it's usually read as "kaze"—"fuu" is just an alternate reading. She's got this quirk where she ends pretty much every sentence with "pupu," which becomes endearing fast.
The real utility of Fuu comes when she and Hoop team up: together, they can harness the power of the moon and wind to power up Pretty Cure using the Spiral Ring Set. So while she's mysterious and doesn't get a ton of character development, she's essential to the girls' transformation mechanics.
