Akatsuchi is a large shinobi from Iwagakure who serves as the Tsuchikage's escort and bodyguard.
He's known for being cheerful and easygoing, with an almost childlike enthusiasm about pretty much everything—he got genuinely excited at the idea of flying again, even knowing they might be heading into combat. That same optimistic energy showed when he heard Deidara might've survived his fight with Sasuke, despite Deidara being an enemy ninja. It's a pretty endearing quality, though he can flip a switch during actual fights, becoming sharp and efficient when protecting Ōnoki.
His loyalty to the Tsuchikage is rock solid. He'll stick close to Ōnoki's side no matter what, ready to jump in if the old man's hip starts acting up—which apparently happens enough that it's a genuine concern. He's the type who'll grumble about carrying luggage but do it anyway because his leader needs him.
