Ono no Imoko
Ono no Imoko was a Japanese politician who lived in the late 6th and early 7th centuries during the Asuka period. He's best known for being appointed as Kenzuishi—essentially an envoy or diplomatic official—to the Sui Court in 607, a significant role that marked one of Japan's early formal diplomatic missions to China.
