Keisuke is a doctor and the citadel's newest arrival. His introduction to this world was chaotic—he and a partner barely escaped a swarm of cats by fleeing the city, only to get ambushed by bandits who stripped them of everything. Things looked grim until the bandits themselves came under attack, giving the two a window to slip back inside the city walls.
Their relief was short-lived. Another cat encounter forced them to hide in a building, but his partner wasn't fast enough. Keisuke watched helplessly as they were transformed, the partner rambling about oxytocin and how the whole thing was somehow endearing. It sent his partner running into the street screaming about how cute they'd become—which naturally attracted every cat in the area. A trio of locals pulled Keisuke back from the edge of that same fate.
After being brought to the citadel proper, Keisuke found the experience surprisingly welcoming. He's since bonded with Kunagi, who he credits with helping him through those early days.
He typically wears a construction hat and broken glasses alongside a simple v-neck shirt and jeans.
