Hana Kaka started out as an assassin from the Land of Bamboo before going undercover as a teacher at the Academy in Konohagakure. Her time in the village changed her perspective pretty fundamentally—she eventually cut ties with her old life and the Land of Bamboo entirely to commit fully to teaching.
