Originally from Austria and hailing from a reputed noble family, Richard is the first foreign student of Shirokin High School. He can speak polite Japanese fluently, with the other Shirokin students (who believe he's from Australia) teaching him dirty phrases without explaining them. It is unknown how Richard, who is a prodigy with top marks, came to study at Shirokin.
