He is initially the editor-in-chief of Monthly Sirius Houjou, but takes over as editor-in-chief of Weekly Shōnen Magazine when Yamashirou transfers. He does not like Takanashi and is set against serializing any of her work. He brings two Vice-Editor-in-chiefs with him from Monthly Sirius Houjou, Unono Tsuyoshi and Agama Tetsuya.
