A Seiin High School student and Mikihiko's younger sister. She volunteered as a test subject in her brother's research and struck up a friendship with Esther during that time. She died in an accident while participating in the experiments.
Hirumi and her partner Hishigata are members of DA, ostensibly searching for the ideal combination of mind and body—though both have their own hidden agendas and are really just using the organization for their purposes. While maintaining the facade of an ordinary high school girl, Hirumi was involved in Hishigata's research on how esper abilities manifest in humans, the same work that had tricked Esther into becoming a supervisor. Despite these circumstances, the two became genuine friends.
After Hirumi's death, Esther brings her back to life, which initially relieves Hishigata. The relief is short-lived, though, when Esther discovers that Hirumi has become possessed by the evil spirit Taowu.
