Takeshi sets out into the forest with the goal of committing suicide, but is interrupted by the sudden arrival of the strange Mia, a young girl with cat ears and a tail. Although she doesn't seem to have a vast vocabulary and doesn't even understand what "suicide" means, Takeshi slowly grows to like her.
