Elaine is a noblewoman—the daughter of the local lord—who first learned about Reiji when her mother sought his medical help. She's got that classic arrogant streak you'd expect from someone of her status, bossy and used to getting her way. But after Reiji sorted out her whole "love potion" problem, she developed feelings for him pretty hard. Now she's constantly coming up with reasons to visit his shop, clearly just looking for an excuse to see him.
