Tamar is best known as the younger sister of both Absalom and Solomon. When Solomon began unexpectedly allying himself with demons rather than destroying them, Absalom moved to confront him—but it was Tamar who got word to Solomon first, warning him of the threat approaching.
After Solomon took the throne, Tamar sought him out to ask a favor: she wanted their father released from the tower where he'd been imprisoned. She questioned whether Solomon still held a grudge against him. Though she went along with Solomon's plan for her to marry a man who'd shown interest, she made her disappointment clear, wishing Solomon had claimed her as his wife instead. Still, she seemed to accept it might be for the best—at least she wouldn't have to witness her brother's downfall firsthand.
