Patrick is a night watchman at the Louvre Museum, working alongside Marcel. Unlike Cécile, he doesn't quite believe Marcel's story about his sister's disappearance. Similarly, he is ambivalent toward the museum cats at first, but grows fond of them later. He takes a particular liking to the sphynx cat Boukkiri, who he calls Baldy. Patrick says he enjoys spending time at the Louvre because it allows him to meet people from all over the world.
