Manaka is Laala and Non's dad and married to Himeka. He runs Papa's Pasta, the family restaurant.
He's got short brown hair and brown eyes that he barely opens. When he's working, he's usually in his chef uniform.
Personality-wise, Manaka comes across as easygoing and hardworking—though he's genuinely relaxed only when sitting down to eat with the family. The moment he starts cooking, though, he becomes a different person: cheerful, chatty, and totally into talking to himself about what he's making. He has this habit of mixing Italian food vocabulary into his speech for no reason other than it apparently makes him happy. "Arigatortilla" is the kind of thing you'd hear from him.
Character designers seem to have based his look on Shou from the earlier Pretty Rhythm series, which fans have definitely noticed.
