Anubis is a sentient Stand with no user—a rare phenomenon. Dio discovered it in a dark museum roughly five centuries after its original creator had perished. The Stand pledged itself to Dio after he overpowered it in combat using The World, establishing what became an oddly loyal (if one-sided) relationship between them.
