Raiden Shuga
First Lieutenant and vice-commander of Spearhead Squadron, Raiden is an elite Processor with four years under his belt and the personal codename Wehrwolf. He's best known for being Shin's closest friend in the unit—the two spent three years together before Spearhead even formed, which gives Raiden a bond with him that nobody else quite matches.
Physically imposing and a solid leader, Raiden knows his strengths and plays to them. He's not trying to out-duel Shin or Theo in a firefight; instead, he handles the tactical grunt work—covering flanks while those two do what they do best. He's fiercely protective of his squadron and has actually defied orders to keep his friends alive. The guys look up to him like an older brother. Lena's noted he can be a bit crude with his language, though.
Off the battlefield, Raiden handles most of the cooking for the squadron and is surprisingly handy with a needle and thread—he picked up sewing with Shin so they could keep their gear patched up.
