He runs the Demonic Church inside the Demon King Castle and basically serves as the castle's necromancer-in-chief. Whenever someone dies there—which happens disturbingly often, thanks mostly to the Princess and her. hobbies—he brings them back. The magic he uses comes from an evil god he worships, which definitely tracks given what his job entails.
At his core, he's actually a healer. That's his fundamental skillset. But when he needs to fight, he pivots hard into necromancy, which is a pretty unhinged way to handle combat if you ask fans. The combination of resurrection magic and healing creates this weird support role where he's keeping people (and things) alive—whether they want to be or not.
