Ryou works as a deputy chief at an office company and is 27 years old. He's Rio's older brother—Rio happens to be best friends with Ichika, a girl Ryou has become completely obsessed with. He's convinced Ichika is his soulmate, though she has no idea about the intensity of his feelings. His unrequited love for her borders on fanatical, and he doesn't seem to grasp that it's not actually mutual.
