Raizan
Xiao's older sister and primary caregiver. She raised Xiao largely on her own, always protective and present in her sister's life. To make ends meet, Raizan would venture into the garden to hunt for trinkets and relics worth selling back home—a risky but necessary hustle that kept both of them afloat.
Everything changed when she discovered a katana in the garden. She quickly understood it was dangerous, but before she could figure out what to do with it, three mysterious shadows showed up looking for it. During the confrontation, Raizan made the call to fight them off and push them back through the gate, trying to protect Xiao in the process. The attempt cost her everything—the sisters were separated, with Raizan on the wrong side of the gate.
