Caerick is a young elf merchant and the younger twin of Caerina, son of Mai-Mai, and grandson of Cayna. He's best known for founding and running Sakaiya, a major trading company with operations across the continent, and for establishing the Merchants Guild itself. Building that commerce network took him about fifty years of work—which all went sideways when the seven nations collapsed into three.
As a businessman, Caerick enjoys a bit of clever maneuvering and political intrigue, though he's not the corrupt type. He and his grandmother Cayna had their rough patches at first, but once they patched things up, he became genuinely helpful to her in various ways. He's also a father to Idzik.
These days, his main headache is finding someone willing to marry his twin sister Caerina.
