Touya is the kind of guy you'd describe as genuinely nice—calm, gentle, and pretty easygoing. He started out as Tsubaki's attendant, but Tsubaki basically told him he deserved better, that he should be performing on stage himself instead of staying behind the scenes. So he made the jump to becoming an I-Chu.
He's got impeccable manners and treats pretty much everyone with kindness without overthinking it. That said, his laid-back nature means he can be a bit spacey sometimes. Whenever Tatsumi and Aoi get into it, Touya's usually the one stepping in to smooth things over—which tracks with his general vibe. He's also surprisingly taken on a motherly role for Tenjou Tenge, looking after them in his own unassuming way.
