Yuke was the only survivor when his village was attacked by a monster stampede when he was seven. His uncle Saga Feldio, leader of the legendary A-Class adventurer team Anubis, pulled him out of the chaos and took him in. Since Saga was constantly away on adventures, Yuke ended up raised by Saga's sister Etina and her husband Hinas, who treated him more like a nephew than anything else.
Saga's stories about visiting the End of The World—how breathtakingly beautiful it was—stuck with Yuke. It's what made him want to become an adventurer in the first place. At fifteen or so, he joined the Thunder Pike party alongside Simon Barkley, a childhood friend who'd had a one-sided crush on him for years. But after five years, reality set in. Yuke's class—Red Mage—wasn't respected, and his own teammates saw him as basically the party errand boy. Sick of it, he left.
Desperate to rebuild his career, Yuke connected with some of his former students: Marina, a magic swordmage; Silk, a ranger with dark elf heritage; and Rain, a priestess-mage. They were soon joined by Nene, a Ferci scout ninja (part human, part cat). Together, the five of them formed the adventurer party Clover with a shared dream: reaching the End of The World, just like Saga had.
