Ema's Pet Squirrel
A squirrel who's been Ema's faithful companion since childhood. He's basically been glued to her side the whole time, serving as her constant friend through everything. He calls her "Chii" and is fiercely protective—so much so that he refers to her brothers as "Wolves," which tells you something about how seriously he takes guarding her.
The weird part? He can actually talk to Ema. It's also hinted that Louis might be able to communicate with him too, though that's less clearly established.
