This Pokémon is basically a coin-obsessed listener. Seriously—drop a coin anywhere and it'll come sprinting, then scoop it up with its teeth. Beyond that, it's got an incredible nose and can track down food or lost people from surprisingly far away. Trainers have actually used it for search-and-rescue missions, like when it was sent to find a missing Miurasan. That said, don't expect perfect results; it gets sidetracked constantly by the sound of dropping change or literally any food smell.
Fishing and swimming come naturally to it. It can catch fish the way bears do—no rod needed—and it's genuinely skilled in water.
The seasonal stuff is pretty wild. Come winter, its fur becomes ridiculously long and basically impossible to manage. Then spring rolls around and a bamboo shoot just. grows out of the top of its head. You can pull it off, but another one sprouts right back.
It communicates with a few distinct calls: "Un-uun!" and "Uun!"
Takane discovered it and also gave it its name. It debuted in Chapter 7.
