Chae-kyoung
Chae-kyoung is a Korean exchange student who came to Japan to train in Prism Shows at Pretty Top, eventually joining the Korean unit PURETTY. She comes from serious money—the kind of wealth that's shaped her approach to problems, which tends to lean pretty hard on throwing cash at things rather than thinking them through. That said, she's got a genuine eye for talent and potential, even when others miss it.
Before diving into Prism Shows, she worked as a model back home, which probably explains her polished confidence and her tendency to just push forward and make things happen. Her older brother Yun-su is a designer who runs Dear Crown, so creative talent clearly runs in the family.
She's known for being refreshingly upbeat and straightforward, though her perspective is obviously shaped by her privileged background. Her vocabulary is pretty distinctive—she tosses around "celebrity" as an adjective whenever she thinks something's cool, and she peppers her speech with the Korean word "Kwenchana" (basically "all good") to brush things off. Ayami is her closest friend in Prizzmy☆, and the two balance each other out pretty well. Her whole personality kind of crystallizes in that "celebrity" catchphrase of hers—it's become pretty much her signature thing.
