Despite his privileged background, he's best known for his chain-smoking habit, though the anime ditched this detail. He's also surprisingly skilled at piano.
At school, he's got that whole rebellious bad-boy thing going that the girls are into. During Valentine's Day, he gets swarmed by female classmates trying to hand him chocolate, which he finds more irritating than anything. What catches people off-guard is that underneath the rebel persona, Gokudera's actually a top student who aces every test.
