Shougo's the younger son of Kengo and Chie Ryuujin, with an older sister named Tomoko. He's known Saho Shimatani since childhood—they grew up together.
Before things got weird, he was just your average high school student. He's got a black belt in karate, so he's been training seriously for a while.
The Dragon Bone Card
Everything changed when Shougo came into contact with the Dragon bone card. It chose him as its adept, and he became Earth's keystone—basically got thrust into something way bigger than his normal life. The responsibilities that came with it are pretty central to who he becomes as the story goes on.
