Tokoha Anjou is an eighth grader in Chrono Shindou's class and a member of Team TRY3. She pilots a Neo Nectar deck with Ranunculus Flower Maiden, Ahsha as her avatar.
She's the kind of honor student who won't back down—level-headed but direct, which means she and Chrono clash regularly without her wilting under pressure. Tokoha has a genuine sense of justice that fuels a lot of those conflicts. Her older brother Mamoru is a seriously accomplished Vanguard fighter, and growing up around him gave her both deep knowledge of the game and legitimate skill to match. She also looks up to Akane Kiyosu, treating her somewhere between an older sister and a best friend.
Despite her talents, Tokoha wrestles with living in Mamoru's shadow. She loves cardfighting but has convinced herself she'll never reach his level, which kept her from entering big tournaments for a while. When people expect her to be as good as her brother just because of their connection, it gets in her head—enough to throw off her game and cost her matches. That mental block was a real problem until she finally beat Mamoru once. After that win, she started letting go of the comparison, which showed most clearly during her rematch with Rin Hashima.
Outside of cards, she's got a passion for running festivals. The downside? She gets bossy and kind of intimidating when she's in charge, though her enthusiasm is genuine.
